The whole development, which has cost Towcester £12m to date, is expected to be completed by October with greyhound meetings being staged by the end of December. The 420 metre track will stage three meetings a week, offering a blend of six and eight-dog meetings on a 'state of the art' track encompassing the very best standards of specification to ensure the welfare of all greyhounds who compete.

B.Line Plant have imported 4,000 lorry loads of muck to create the track in a 12 week window. They have completed the earth works, drainage, ducting, a new road and the reinforced concrete works.
