British Engineerium

The British Engineerium is a Grade II listed old Victorian steam pump station currently under renovation to become an education and entertainment centre celebrating British engineering. Although currently closed we will be opening this Sunday (18th November)Sunday 6th January and after that every last Sunday of the month.

All money raised from these open days will go towards the British Engineerium Trust and the continued renovations. We are not financed by any official bodies so your support would very much appreciated! The Pump House and engine will be under full steam so visitors will be able to view the Victorian machinery as it was working over one and a half centuries ago. We will also have great local food served by Spade and Spoon plus Victorian actors, and a load of other exhibits and engines.
